New Forests Appoints Director of US Investments & Operations
New Position to Lead the Development of US Investment Opportunities

SYDNEY – New Forests is pleased to announce the appointment of David Brentlinger to the newly created position of Director of Investments and Operations, United States. Mr. Brentlinger will be responsible for growing New Forests’ US-based investment management business, building on the landmark Eco Products Fund and advisory services business.
Mr. Brentlinger has 20 years of real estate investment experience and most recently was Senior Vice President and member of the Investment and Management Committee at Weyerhaeuser Realty Investors. In this role he was responsible for placing $1.5 billion in real estate investments and overseeing operations and asset management for a portfolio of over 100 debt and equity investments. Previous roles at Weyerhaeuser included executive management, financial oversight, marketing and land use planning of major master planned communities. Mr. Brentlinger received an MBA from the University of Chicago and a Masters of International Affairs from Columbia University. He has a Bachelor of International Relations from Stanford University.

Mr. Brentlinger will lead the US investment business from New Forests’ San Francisco office. This newly created position follows the hiring of James Davies, Head of Funds Management, based in New Forests’ Sydney headquarters. Mr. Brentlinger will report to Mr. Davies.
